On Saturday, September 19, 2009, San Diego will experience the synergy of community, music, health information, educational resources, and open-air marketplace in a fusion of inspiration, wellness and cultural empowerment. The 2nd Annual San Diego Praise Fest is designed to provide the San Diego community with an opportunity to come together in praise and worship through various forms of gospel music and healthy cultural celebration. The San Diego Praise Fest will take place in the Webster Community of San Diego on Federal Blvd between Euclid Ave and 48th Street, in a traditional street festival setting.

Music Stages
The 3 music stages will feature live performances from the best local, inspirational and international talent in urban contemporary and traditional gospel music.

Kids Zone
An area dedicated to youth and small child activities. This area will feature mechanical rides and interactive games.

Education Row
This area will offer educational institutions, professionals, and services organizations the opportunity to engage festival attendees by providing information on their services, programs, and campuses. This is a critical time for students as it is the beginning of the school year. High School seniors are beginning their college search and parents are seeking academic support services for their children.

Food Court
The Food Court will feature the traditional festival foods with an emphasis on healthy food alternatives.

This area will focus on providing information, resources, and screenings to the community. This is a critical time as students are returning to school and need health screenings and immunizations.

As a part of educating our youth, the youth Enterprise Zone is geared toward encouraging and challenging youth to develop an entrepreneurial spirit.
